Murphy bed (studio 2)

The studio is also the guest room. My husband made a murphy style bed. It used to be right as you came in the door. When it was up, you wouldn’t notice, but when it was down you needed to walk around it.

Taking out the wood stove means that the bed can go into the back of the studio and be out of the way until it needs to be used.

Before

The floor wasn’t done under the old hearth. So we replaced it with some flooring we had and some plywood. It will be covered most of the time by a table or by the bed.

One back corner finished!
